Events in Japan
It is with profound sadness that we watch the heart-rending videos and in the aftermath, the struggle of Japan to cope with the basic needs for food and water, shelter, and care for the many survivors of the 9.0 quake and tsunami, identify its dead, restore power, and avert a nuclear disaster. We are so deeply impressed with the calm attitude to carry on and the bravery and strength of the Japanese people. We have had at least 20 IPDET participants from Japan over the years and I know you all join me in hoping that they and their families have survived and are coping as best they can.
Our deepest sympathies to our Japanese colleagues on this heartbreaking event.
Linda on behalf of all.
