New Workshops for 2014
Many of IPDET’s highly successful workshops will be offered again this year, but there are also several new workshops:
Qualitative Comparative Analysis, taught by Barbara Befani, Research Fellow: Impact Innovation and Learning, Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, United Kingdom;
Value Chains and Evaluation in the Private Sector, taught by Ruerd Ruben, Director of the Independent Policy and Operations Evaluation Department of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Jim Tanburn, Coordinator of the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development;
Sampling Techniques for Development Evaluation II, taught by Bassirou Chitou, international consultant, senior statistician, and M&E specialist;
Both Sides Now: Managing the External Evaluation Team from the Client and Consultant Perspectives, taught by Ted Freeman, Senior Associate of Goss Gilroy Inc. of Ottawa, Canada, and Ted Kliest, Senior Evaluator in the Policy and Operations Evaluation Department of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and
Managing an Evaluation Unit, taught by Niels Dabelstein, former Head of Evaluation at DANIDA, and Maliha Khan, Director, Learning, Evaluation and Accountability, Oxfam America.
