Daniel Musiitwa is a Communications Lead at the World Bank Group, where he has held various senior communications roles, including at the Independent Evaluation Group (IEG), where he led a team charged with expanding IEG’s influence and outreach. Daniel has experience in almost every major area of communications, including strategy development, PR, media, web, social media marketing, communications measurement, and internal communications. Prior to joining the World Bank, Daniel managed a strategic communication consulting practice, whose clients included the World Bank, USAID, and several public and private sector organizations.
In 2018, Daniel received a Silver Quill Award for excellence in communication management from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). He holds an undergraduate degree from Makerere University in Uganda, an MBA from Cranfield University (UK), an M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Leeds (UK) and certificates in digital marketing and strategic storytelling from Columbia Business School (USA).
