Martin Noltze is senior evaluator at the Competence Center for Evaluation Methodologies of the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval). He has 15 years of experience as an evaluator and has taught several workshops at international conferences, in ministries and development organizations. At DEval, Martin works on the advancement of evaluation methods and designs in the field complex development interventions and has published a range of reports and articles on topics related to development, sustainability, climate and evaluation. Currently, Martin is leading a multi-year modular evaluation on climate change adaptation in which he is cooperating with different international organizations and institutes. He holds a MSc in economic geography and a PhD in agricultural economics.
CLOSED II-f: Evaluation of climate change and development
Based on current concepts and frameworks, practical examples and interactive group work, the workshop covers methods and tools for the evaluation of climate finance and development impact, including evidence reviews, SDG evaluation, advanced case studies analysis, vulnerability assessments and geospatial evaluation.
