Veronica Olazabal
Veronica Olazabal is a philanthropy and impact investing executive with more than 20 years of experience working at the intersection of evaluation, impact measurement and management (IMM), and global development. She has held senior leadership roles at the BHP, Rockefeller, and Mastercard foundations, supporting strategy, investment, and portfolio decision-making across climate, livelihoods, education, and resilience. Veronica teaches at Columbia University, has served as President of the American Evaluation Association, and has published on evaluation and impact in leading journals and practitioner outlets, including the Global Handbook of Impact Investing. She holds an MA in Anthropology from Columbia University, an MCRS in Urban Policy and Planning and a BA in Communications from Rutgers University, and a professional certificate in Business Analytics and Data Science from Harvard University.
