Attendance Options

Depending on your booked workshops you have the option to additionally book full board:

Due to high demand, the Full-Board option for week 1 and 2 is currently no longer available. If you are still interested in this Full-Board option for week 1 and/or week 2, please write to registration@ipdet.org and we will put you on the waiting list for this Full-Board option. In case both the Full-Board option becomes availabile again, we will inform you immediately.

A very special and unique add on for those booking 2 weeks is the day trip to the Alps on Sunday, July 16!
Please note: Only if you stay the full 2 weeks, you are eligible to take part in this unforgettable trip!

*Please note that the Full Board Option accommodation is limited on a first come first serve basis

**Please carefully study the descriptions in the accommodation section if the conditions in the student houses are suitable for you! There is no service like in a hotel!

Food

For both lunch and dinner and at both graduation nights, IPDET will offer a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian food option. We kinkly ask for your understanding that we cannot offer halal food. For those we can name appropriate restaurants in Bern on request.

Participants can attend any combination of weeks or single workshops during the On-Site program:

  • Core Course only (week 1)
  • Core Course (week 1) and workshop week (week 2)
  • Workshop week only (week 2)
  • Single workshops (2 or 2.5 days in week 2)

 

Fees for the IPDET On-Site program in Bern, Switzerland.

Tuition fee: The fee covers tuition, course material and a CHF 500 non-refundable administration charge.

Invoice: You will receive an invoice which contains the exact total amount and detailed payment instructions once your application has been approved.

Method of payment: Payment can only be made by wire transfer.

Payment and Refund Policy: The total amount must be paid within the deadline indicated on the invoice. If the payment deadline is exceeded, the application will be automatically cancelled.

A full tuition refund, less a non-refundable administrative charge of CHF 500, may be requested in writing by April 30, 2023.

A refund of 50% of tuition, less a non-refundable administrative charge of CHF 500, can be requested in writing between May 1 and May 31, 2023.

There are no refunds if cancellation is requested after May 31, 2023.
If you attend more than one workshop, the payment deadline and refund policy apply to the date of the first workshop you attend. For further refund and cancellation information please read our GTC.

Group Discount: A 5% discount is offered to organizations that notify us in advance before applying of their intention to send and sponsor five or more individuals to this year’s IPDET program and for whom a single group invoice can be prepared. To notify us, please write an email to finance@ipdet.org.

Application Deadlines: The application as Self-Payer for the IPDET 2023 On-Site program is possible from February 15 until May 31, 2023.

Your participation is only guaranteed once the full payment has been credited to our account.

Note: IPDET will issue a visa support letter to those Self-Payers who require a visa to enter Switzerland once the full payment has been made and verified.
