Registration for IPDET On-Site 2024 is Now Closed.

To cater different needs, IPDET On-Site Program provide flexible attendance options!

Program Options

Participants can attend any combination of weeks or single workshops during the On-Site program. Option combinations include:

  1. Core Course only (week 1)
  2. Core Course (week 1) and workshop week (week 2)
  3. Workshop week only (week 2)
  4. Single workshops (2 or 2.5 days in week 2)

Please review the program curriculum for details on core courses and various workshops, and select your desired program.

Attendance Options

Depending on your booked courses, you can choose to attend the on-site program in full broad, with food and student accommodation included, or choose the “tuition only” option, in which you arrange your own accommodation and meals. Please see the below table.

Due to the high demand, the full board product for week 1 and 2 are currently not available.

Tuition fee covers tuition, course material and a CHF 500 non-refundable administration charge.

An extraordinary add-on for those booking two weeks is the day trip to the Alps on Sunday, July 21!
Please note: Only if you stay the full two weeks are you eligible to take part in the trip!

*Please note that the Full Board accommodation is limited on a first-come, first-served basis
**Please carefully check the descriptions in the accommodation section to see if the conditions of the student houses suit you! There is no service like in a hotel!

Food
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided each day of the scheduled program (Mon-Fri) at the University Cafeteria, providing vegetarian and meat/fish options. It is not possible for IPDET to offer suitable meal alternatives for all dietary requirements (e.g., we cannot provide vegan or Halal food). Please note before applying, if you are on a specific diet or have particular allergies (e.g., coeliac disease), the full board product might not suit your needs!
  • No food is provided on weekends.

How to Pay

Method of payment: Payment can only be made by wire transfer.

Invoice: You will receive an invoice which contains the exact total amount and detailed payment instructions once your application has been approved.

Payment and Refund Policy: The total amount must be paid within the deadline indicated on the invoice. If the payment deadline is exceeded, the application will be automatically cancelled.

A full tuition refund, less a non-refundable administrative charge of CHF 500, may be requested in writing by May 8, 2024.

A refund of 50% of tuition, less a non-refundable administrative charge of CHF 500, can be requested in writing between May 8 and June 10, 2024.

There are no refunds if cancellation is requested after June 10, 2024.
If you attend more than one workshop, the payment deadline and refund policy apply to the date of the first workshop you attend. For further refund and cancellation information please read our GTC.

Group Discount: A 5% discount is offered to organizations that notify us in advance before applying of their intention to send and sponsor five or more individuals to this year’s IPDET program and for whom a single group invoice can be prepared. To notify us, please write an email to [email protected].

Application Deadlines: The application for the IPDET 2024 On-Site program is possible from February 1 until June 10, 2024.

Note: For Scholarship application the deadline is April 5, 2024If you submit a scholarship application and simultaneously submit an application (as self-funded), IPDET will not consider the scholarship application.

Your participation is only guaranteed once the full payment has been credited to our account.

Note: IPDET will issue a visa support letter to those Applicants who require a visa to enter Switzerland once the full payment has been made and verified.
