Hansdeep Khaira

Hansdeep Khaira has been working in the development field since 2002 and in the evaluation field for the past more than 10 years. He is currently Senior Evaluation Officer in the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) of the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). Prior to that, he worked in the World Food Program (WFP), also as Senior Evaluation Officer. He has led and managed several strategic and complex evaluations that span the agriculture, food security, rural development and humanitarian fields, and conducted several impact evaluations. Hansdeep has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting and Auditing) from Mumbai University, India, and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from SOAS, University of London.
